GOTS for Colourants
This white khadi fabric with a red abstract kantha pattern is handwoven to combine breathable comfort with visible artisan texture. At 165 GSM it has a balanced midweight hand with enough body for clean tailoring while staying comfortable and breathable. The stitched abstract pattern brings movement and contrast to the white base, giving the surface a graphic, handcrafted identity.
The khadi base adds natural slubs and a slightly dry hand, while the kantha work creates raised detail that catches light differently across the surface. Use it for kurtas, dresses, co-ords, light jackets, skirts, bags, cushion covers, and textile-led accents.
Kantha's delicate hand-stitching requires maximum care.
Washing:
-Always hand wash in cold water with a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent.
Avoid:
-Do not rub, scrub, or wring the fabric. Gently squeeze out the water.
Drying:
-Lay flat to dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading and stretching.
Ironing:
-Iron on the reverse side with low to medium heat while slightly damp.
